OASES have been commissioned by the Energy Conservation and Carbon Team at Durham County Council to run this programme. Schools (within County Durham only) will receive direct support to assist them in reducing their carbon emissions.
Secondary school offer:
3.5 days of FREE support, to include:
- Initial meetings with senior leader, bursar and premises manager, as appropriate.
- Audit of the school's energy use.
- Report and presentation illustrating the results of the audit and identifying school specific actions that can be taken.
- Meeting with Eco Group (or equivalent), or help to establish an Eco Group Energy Team to enable them to engage the rest of the school.
- Support for Eco Group Energy Team to help them identify actions to reduce the school's energy use.
- Feedback on energy reduction impact and final report.

- Audit of the school's energy use.
- Report and presentation illustrating the results of the audit and identifying school specific actions that can be taken.
- Meeting with Eco Group (or equivalent), or help to establish an Eco Group Energy Team to enable them to engage the rest of the school.
- Support for Eco Group Energy Team to help them identify actions to reduce the school's energy use.
