Recharging the Earth Final

Rosa Street Winners The final took place at the Brainwave 10 event at NETPark near Sedgefield in July.

The school that won the Battery Recycling Competition was Bishop Ian Ramsey School from Medomsley. The school received a fantastic 'lifetime supply' of Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries and chargers.

Three schools battled it out to win the grand prize:

Annfield Plain Juniors
The Grove Primary
Rosa Street Primary

The winners were Rosa Street primary for their excellent reworking of 'Morning has Broken'. They received an array of Sanyo photovoltaic panels installed at the school.
