In a number of schools and learning clusters, OWNNE devised pre-departure training for staff visiting a partner school in a developing country for the first time, enabling them to set realistic goals for their trip, manage their reactions and make best use of it in their school curriculum and community, developing a reciprocal and sustainable school link, based on educational aims. We also devised joint training for partner colleagues visiting the UK, to ensure they had shared knowledge and understanding of the Global School Partnership programme.
