Specialist delivery to children/young people
OASES assists schools and settings to deliver Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC), a Global Dimension and Sustainability Education to pupils of all ages and abilities. OASES has developed a number of set services (see below) but we can also work with your staff to devise bespoke programmes of delivery. Some of our services are available as extended schools provision.
- Field Studies Leadership - Expert leadership of field studies activities on or off site (Coast, Countryside, Urban)
- School Grounds Development - Supporting schools and settings to develop and use their grounds for education and play.
- Global Awareness Audit -Using a specially developed toolkit to audit and assess global awareness and attitudinal change
- GRASS - Assisting schools to complete practical developments, maintenance and learning in wildlife and growing spaces.
- Forest Schools - Enabling schools to take this inspirational form of learning into their grounds or nearby woodlands.
- Forest Fun - Environmental Summer School, providing children with the opportunity to learn and play in the great outdoors.
- Environmental/Earth Education - Helping schools to apply this exciting form of learning to the curriculum.
- Green Start - Working with settings to deliver the EYFS through practical outdoor activities.
- Eco Schools support -We support eco-action clubs/groups or class groups to audit and undertake practical eco-schools activity
- Practical help with the delivery of all 8 Sustainable Schools doorways
- Green Check - Working with your school to ensure that you are 'Green' and meet all current environmental legislation.
